Performance Options

The 2020 Ford F-150 is built to handle any situation, whether you need the truck just to get around town or if you use it to tow and haul equipment or gear for work or recreation. Here are all six of the F-150’s impressive engine options:

  • 3.5-liter Ecoboost with 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.
  • 3.0-liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel that integrates capability with improved 29-mpg fuel economy rating.
  • High-output 3.5-liter Ecoboost with best-in-class 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard in the Raptor and Limited models.
  • 2.7-liter Turbocharged Ecoboost that delivers 400 pound-feet of torque and 325 horsepower.
  • 5.0-liter TI-VCT V-8 with a 10-speed transmission for maximum hauling and towing capacity.
  • 3.3-liter TI-VCT V-6 that uses twin independent variable cam timing to deliver more responsive performance.

Smart Strength and Capability

Ford knows how to build tough, but they also know how to build smart. The 2020 F-150 features a new, lighter, military-grade aluminum-alloy body. That lighter aluminum allows the F-150 to have a higher power-to-weight ratio and tow up to an available 13,200 pounds. This aluminum body is paired with a newly-designed fully boxed high-strength steel frame that uses stronger steel and larger cross-sections than previous F-150 frames. Thanks to a unique fabrication process, this steel frame, while stronger and more rigid, is 60 pounds lighter than previous frames.

If you want the toughest that the F-150 has to offer, then you need the F-150 Raptor. This model is begging to be taken off-road with its FOX live valve monotube shocks with internal bypass technology and an electronic solenoid valve that delivers constant variable compression damping. The Torque-On-Demand system quickly applies torque to the front and rear, pairing with an electronic-locking rear differential that can firmly lock the axle at both wheels. Those systems team up with innovative technology such as a Terrain Management System and Trail Control.

Ford Co-Pilot360

A powerful engine and a capable body isn’t everything. You also need the latest technology to keep you safe. Fortunately, the 2020 F-150 comes with Ford Co-Pilot360, a suite of technologies that will improve your driving experience. You can confidently drive with a trailer thanks to Pro Trailer Backup Assist and BLIS with Trailer Coverage, which alerts you when vehicles are in the blind spot created by whatever you’re towing. Other safety features include Hill Descent Control, a Lane-Keeping System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Co-Pilot360 also has an available Navigation System designed to always keep you on track. In addition to providing route information, this navigation system can also point you to the nearest gas station or to other locations you may be interested in.

With so many options and innovative features, you can make the 2020 Ford F-150 your dream vehicle. To take a new F-150 for a test drive, come down to Chaparral Ford.
